As part of our investigation into a reported burglary in Waterlooville, we are releasing an E-fit image of a man we’d like to speak to in connection with the incident. We received a report that at around 1pm on Friday 12 June, a woman in her 70s had returned to her address on Catherington Lane, where she found that the window on her front door had been smashed and a man was burglarising her house. The woman was not harmed, and the man left the scene on a bicycle, having stolen cash and jewellery from the address. Officers have launched an investigation and would like to speak to a man in connection with the incident, pictured in the E-fit, and described as: We believe this man can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us. We would also like to hear from anyone who recalls seeing anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 and quote incident number 44260277877.
